That infamous villain ‘Testing’ has finally been caught and is being brought to trial at the Court of Wise and Impartial Testers (WIT) in Edinburgh. This is a fun session (with a serious message) that will take the audience (our jury) through a formal trial procedure against testing.
It will not be a pleasant business – as we hear of horrific tales of scripting taking weeks to complete, small changes taking forever to regression test, and testers themselves wasting valuable time and money on unimportant tasks. There will even be evidence that testers have not managed to find all bugs, and some have got through to Production. Not for the faint-hearted!
The court’s judge will ask the jury to take all of the testimony and evidence into account, and consider carefully their decision: Is Testing Guilty or Not Guilty as charged? Come and find out!
